CCG-GREEN GRANT WRITING PROJECTS INCLUDE:

USDA Forest Service – 2009 Woody Biomass Utilization Grant

CCG-GREEN was contracted to develop the narrative for the final submission of this grant proposal, to be awarded in the summer of 2009. Anderson Custom Homes, LLC and its collaborative partners were seeking assistance in the implementation of their Rocky Mountain Biomass Transportation and Utilization Initiative.

This initiative will diversify the use and value of beetle-killed timber extracted from the White River National Forest in Colorado, while at the same time assisting the USDA Forest service with their challenges in hazardous fuels mitigation. With the award of this grant, the extracted timber will be utilized for the purpose of building log homes, as well as developing a locally produced and extracted product line of blue-stained building materials to support the growing green building market.
